Ashley Roman Earns AVCA Division I All-East Region Honors
LEXINGTON, KY. – Coppin State's Ashley Roman has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) East All-Region Team, it was announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.  An Honorable Mention selection, Roman is the first Eagles volleyball player to ever earn AVCA All-Region honors, and the only libero recognized on the East All-Region Team.

Volleyball’s Historic Season Ends in MEAC Championship Game
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State volleyball's historic season came to and on Saturday night as it fell to North Carolina A&T, 3-1 (19-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-9) on Saturday night in the MEAC Championship match.  The Eagles finish the season with an 11-5 overall record, its best in program history.

Volleyball Sweeps NC Central; Advances to MEAC Championship Game on Saturday Night
NORFOLK, Va. – Ashley Roman matched her own school-record with 32 digs as Coppin State's volleyball team swept NC Central, 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-19) in the MEAC Semifinals on Friday night at Echols Hall.  CSU advances to its first Championship Match since 2013 when it faces North Carolina A&T at 6 pm on Saturday, April 3.

Volleyball Places League-High Five Eagles on All-MEAC Teams; Four Win Major Awards
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's volleyball team took home four of five major awards and placed a league-high five players on All-MEAC Teams, it was announced by the conference office on Wednesday morning.  It is tied for the most players that the Eagles have ever placed on the All-Conference Team, matching the 2014 season where five players were placed on three postseason teams.

Coleman, Tut, Roman Earn MEAC Volleyball Weekly Awards
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's volleyball team had three players receive MEAC weekly honors on Monday afternoon with Miajavon Coleman earning Co-Player of the Week accolades.  Additionally, Chudear Tut was named Rookie of the Week while Ashley Roman took home Defensive Specialist of the Week.

BALTIMORE – Chudear Tut led all players with a season-high 14 kills to lead the Coppin State volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-20) victory over Morgan State in the regular season finale on Sunday night at PEC Arena.

Volleyball Wraps Up MEAC Northern Division Title with Eighth Straight Victory
BALTIMORE – Miajavon Coleman notched a double-double with a season-high 21 kills and 14 digs to lead the Coppin State volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-15, 25-18, 14-25, 26-24) victory over Morgan State on Monday night at PEC Arena.  With the win, the Eagles (9-4, 8-1 MEAC) clinched their first-ever MEAC regular season title, the top seed in the Northern Division at the MEAC Tournament and matched a program-record with its eighth-straight victory.

Trio of Volleyball Players Receive MEAC Weekly Honors
NORFOLK, Va. – A trio of Coppin State volleyball players received MEAC Weekly Honors on Monday afternoon as Miajavon Coleman was named Co-Player of the Week.  Kareemah Hopkins earned Setter of the Week honors while Ashley Roman was selected as the Defensive Specialist of the Week.

Tut Leads Volleyball to Four Set Win Over Delaware State; Eagles Clinch At Least Share of MEAC North Division Title
BALTIMORE – Coppin State's volleyball team clinched at least a share of the MEAC Northern Division title with a 3-1 (19-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-14) victory over Delaware State on Friday night at PEC Arena.  Winning their first-ever regular season crown, the Eagles have now won seven-straight matches and are 8-4 on the season and 7-1 in league play.

Volleyball Remains in First Place in Northern Division with Five-Set Win at Delaware State
DOVER, Del. – Ashley Roman matched a school-record for digs and both Paola Caten and Miajavon Coleman notched double-doubles to lead the Coppin State volleyball team to a 3-2 (23-25, 25-22, 25-23, 21-25, 15-11) victory over Delaware State on Thursday night at Memorial Hall. The win solidifies the Eagles' position of first place in the Northern Division at 7-4 overall and 6-1 in the MEAC.
