Ogundeko Paces Women’s Cross Country to 9th Place at 2018 MEAC Championships
SMYRNA, Del. – Led by junior Tatiana Ogundeko, the Coppin State women's cross country team finished ninth out of 11 teams at the 2018 MEAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning at the Delaware State Research & Outreach Center.

Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Set to Compete at 2018 MEAC Championships
SMYRNA, Del. – The Coppin State men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the 2018 MEAC Championships on Saturday, October 27 at the Delaware State Outreach & Learning Center.  The Women's 5K Race will start at 9:45 am, followed by the Men's 8K Race at 10:30 am.

Ogundeko Returns To Lead Lady Eagles In Final Regular Season Meet
SMYRNA, Del. – Tatiana Ogundeko returned from a one-week absence to lead the Lady Eagles with a time of 20:56.7 and a seventh-place finish. The CSU ladies finished ahead of host Delaware State and Wesley with a total time of 1:58:02.

Midnight Mayhem This Thursday
Coppin State Athletics will introduce the women and men's basketball teams as well as the other varsity rosters to the campus community this Thursday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at "Midnight Mayhem: CHAMPION Edition" in the PEC Arena. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

Quailes Shines, Places Third Overall At DSU Pre-Conference Run
SMYRNA, Del. – Freshman Janee Quailes paced the Lady Eagles with a team-high 3rd place finish out of 27 qualified runners at the DSU Pre-Conference Run on Friday afternoon. Coppin State placed ahead of the University of the District of Columbia in the 5K team scores with a total time of 2:09:05 and an average time of 25:49.

Ogundeko Makes Season Debut for Women’s Cross Country at UMES Invitational
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Competing in her first meet this season, Tatiana Ogundeko finished in 14th place out of 64 runners to lead the Coppin State women's cross country team at the UMES Invitational on Saturday afternoon.  No team scores were recorded for the meet.

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Coppin State's men's and women's cross country teams were scheduled to compete at the Cappy Anderson Invitational this weekend, but due to the oncoming threat of Hurricane Florence, the meet has been cancelled.

Coppin State Names Joseph Amoah and Genesis Lucas Athletes of the Year at 2018 Eagles ESPY Awards
BALTIMORE, Md. – The Coppin State University Athletic Department held its annual Eagles ESPN Awards on Monday night and Joseph Amoah of the track & field team and women's basketball's Genesis Lucas were named the Department's Male and Female Athletes of the Year.

58 Eagles Named to MEAC 2018 Commissioner’s All-Academic Team
NORFOLK, Va. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced that 58 Coppin State student-athletes have been named to the 2018 Commissioner's All-Academic Team, it was announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.  A total of 1,366 student-athletes from the 13 member institutions were named to the team.
