Bowling Qualifies for First MEAC Tournament Since 2013-14 Season With 8th Place Finish at MEAC Meet #2
PENSACOLA, Fla. – Coppin State's bowling team has qualified for its first MEAC Tournament since the 2013-14 season as the Eagles picked up three victories at MEAC Meet #2 over the weekend at Cordova Lanes.  CSU finished eighth overall for the Tournament and now have a school-record 33 wins this season.

Bowling Finishes 11th at James Brown Invitational
TOWSON, Md. – Coppin State's bowling team finished 11th of 15 schools and had six bowlers average at least a 173.40 at the James Brown Invitational over the weekend at AMF Towson Lanes. The Eagles stood 12th in the team standings entering Sunday's bracket play but got victories over MEAC rivals Morgan State and Norfolk State to jump up a spot.

Raja Anderson Named MEAC Bowling Rookie of the Week for Second Time
NORFOLK, Va. – For the second time this season, Coppin State's Raja Anderson has been named the MEAC Bowling Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday morning. Anderson's two Rookie honors this season is tied for the most in the conference.

Bowling Takes Eighth at Bowl for the Kure which Includes Victory Over 24th-Ranked Wilmington
DOUGLASSVILLE, Pa. – After a two-and-a-half month layoff, Coppin State's bowling team returned to action and earned a victory over nationally-ranked Wilmington while finishing eighth at the Bowl for the Kure Tournament, hosted by Molloy College at Jay Lanes over the weekend.

Bowling Inks Logan Brown for 2020-21 Season
BALTIMORE – Coppin State bowling head coach Shaunita Middleton picked up her first commit for the 2020-21 season as Logan Brown (Waldorf, Md. / Westlake HS) has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Eagles.

Raja Anderson Named MEAC Bowling Rookie of the Week
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's Raja Anderson has been named the MEAC Bowling Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.  This is the first weekly honor that Anderson has received in her career.

Bowling Wraps Up Fall Season with 12th Place Finish at Vern Stallings Invitational
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Coppin State's bowling team finished 12th at the Vern Stallings Aggies Invitational at AMF All Star Lanes over the weekend. Freshman Raja Anderson the Eagles with 1,078 total pins in six matches while seniors Aushia McLean and Nia Turner had the top averages for Coppin with 180.20 in five matches, and 181.75 in four matches, respectively.

Bowling Upsets #15 Delaware State; Takes 6th at MEAC Meet #1
GLEN BURNIE, Md. – Coppin State's bowling team finished sixth of 11 teams at MEAC Meet #1 this weekend at Bowl America.  Individually, Kaylah Castillo led the Eagles, finishing 40th overall with 922 total pins in five games but her 184.40 average was 22nd out of 68 bowlers.

Kaylah Castillo Named All-Tournament; Leads Bowling to 5th Place Finish at Virginia Union Invitational
GLEN ALLEN, Va. – Coppin State's bowling team finished fifth of 11 schools at the Virginia Union Invitational this weekend at Bowl America. Sophomore Kaylah Castillo was named to the All-Tournament Team after her 189.25 average over four games was third of 78 bowlers.

Coppin State Athletics Announces Hall of Fame Class of 2020
BALTIMORE – Coppin State University proudly released today the four individuals and one team who will comprise the CSU Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2020.  Brian Pisani (baseball), Doug Robertson (women's basketball head coach), Stephen Stewart (men's basketball), Rashida Suber (women's basketball) and the 1975-76 men's basketball team will make up the 2020 Class.
