TaVera Johnson Repeats as MEAC Bowling Rookie of the Week
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's TaVera Johnson has once again been named the MEAC Bowling of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.  Johnson also received the award following her last performance on October 19.

Bowling Wraps Up Virginia Union Invitational in Second Place
GLEN ALLEN, Va. – Coppin State's bowling team defeated Bowie State and upset 12th-ranked Sacred Heart to advance to the Championship Game of the Virginia Union Invitational before falling, 4-2 to Morgan State on Sunday afternoon at Bowl America Short Pump.  The Eagles finished the tournament with a 9-3 mark.

Bowling Stands in Third Place After Two Days at Virginia Union Invitational
GLEN ALLEN, Va. – After two days of the Virginia Union Invitational, Coppin State's bowling team stands in third place, recording a 7-2 record with 9,011 total pins.  TaVera Johnson led the Eagles with a 190.40 average in five traditional matches on Saturday and is currently tenth in the individual standings.

Bowling Back in Action This Weekend at Virginia Union Invitational
GLEN ALLEN, Va. – Coppin State's bowling team returns to action this weekend for the Virginia Union Invitational, held at Bowl America Short Pump from October 29-31.  The Eagles are off to one of its best starts in program history, going 6-4 at the season opening Mount St. Mary's Shootout while placing three bowlers in the top ten.

TaVera Johnson Named MEAC Bowling Rookie of the Week
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's TaVera Johnson has been named the MEAC Bowling Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.  Johnson is the first CSU bowler to earn a MEAC weekly award since February 4, 2020.
