GREENSBORO, N.C. – Coppin State's bowling team concluded its weekend at the MEAC Meet #1 on Sunday at Triad Lanes, finishing in fifth place overall. The Eagles won the opening game of its best-of-seven baker match with UAB but dropped the next four to the Blazers to finish in fifth place overall.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Kaylah Castillo averaged a 198.00 and finished ninth overall to lead the Coppin State bowling team in day two of MEAC Meet 1 on Saturday which featured traditional match play at Triad Lanes.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Coppin State's bowling team sits in fifth place after the opening day of MEAC Meet #1 which was held at Triad Lanes on Friday.  The Eagles dropped all four of its matches, two of which were against nationally ranked teams and two others who are receiving votes in the NTCA Poll.

Bowling Receives Votes in NTCA Poll for First Time Since 2007-08
BALTIMORE – For the first time since the 2007-08 season, the Coppin State bowling team, under the leadership of head coach Shaunita Middleton, is receiving votes in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Poll, which was released on Friday.  The Eagles received the fifth most votes of teams ranked outside the Top 25.

Sydney Tyler Places 10th at CSU Lady Eagles Invitational; Eagles Take 4th of 5 Schools
BALTIMORE – Coppin State's bowling team finished fourth of five schools at its CSU Lady Eagles Invitational on Saturday afternoon at AMF Woodlawn.  The Eagles finished their five traditional style matches with 4,297 pins to record an average of 171.9 per match.

Bowling Takes Season Opening Match from #17 Delaware State in 1st Day of Mount St. Mary’s Shootout
WAYNESBORO, Pa. – Coppin State's bowling team opened the 2020-21 season with a 969-899 Baker match victory over 17th-ranked Delaware State on Saturday afternoon at Sunshine Lanes.  The Eagles finished the Baker Tournament of the Mount St. Mary's Shootout in third place behind the host Mountaineers (3-0) and the Hornets (1-2).
