Logan Brown Wins Tournament Title; Bowling Takes Second at Virginia Union Invitational
MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – Logan Brown won her second individual title of the season to lead the Coppin State bowling team to a second-place finish at the Virginia Union Invitational this weekend at Bowl America. The Eagles went 8-2 with 8,239 total pins to average 164.8 per game which included a perfect 5-0 mark in traditional matches on Saturday.

Kaylah Castillo Named All-Tournament Team as Bowling Takes Third at Mount Shootout
WAYNESBORO, Pa. – Coppin State's Kaylah Castillo finished fourth overall in the individual standings to earn All-Tournament Team honors as the Eagles' bowling team finished third at the Mount St. Mary's Shootout over the weekend at Sunshine Lanes. CSU finished the weekend 6-4 overall with 8,736 total pins to average 174.7 per game.

Logan Brown Named MEAC Bowling Co-Player of the Week; Stokley Receives Rookie of the Week
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's Logan Brown has been named the MEAC Bowling Co-Player of the Week while Elizabeth Stokley was recognized as the league's Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. This is the first weekly award of both Brown and Stokley's collegiate careers.

NEW CASTLE, Del. – Coppin State's Logan Brown finished atop the individual standings, knocking down 1,028 pins across five matches for a 205.60 average on day one of the season-opening Bud Whitman Memorial on Saturday afternoon at Bowlerama.

Bowling to Open 2022 Season at Bud Whitman Memorial This Weekend
NEW CASTLE, Del. – Coppin State's bowling team is set to open the 2022 season on October 8-9 at the Bud Whitman Memorial, hosted by Chestnut Hill College at Bowlerama.  The Eagles will face teams from Mount St. Mary's, Holy Family, Alvernia, Wilmington, Pitt.-Greenburg, Molloy, Bryant, Kutztown and the host Griffins.

Bowling Honored by NTCA for Academic Prowess
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Coppin State's bowling program has been recognized by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-Academic Team, it was announced by the organization on Wednesday.  Teams must have recorded at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average for the academic year to be eligible for consideration.

Bowling Finalizes 2022-23 Roster with Addition of Janaye Monroe
BALTIMORE – Coppin State bowling head coach Shaunita Middleton has announced the addition of Janaye Monroe to the Eagles roster for the 2022-23 season. A native of nearby Bowie, Md., Monroe competed at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina the last two seasons.
