Graham Earns 2nd MEAC Defensive Player Of The Week Award, 4th Of Career
NORFOLK, Va. – Preseason All-MEAC First Team forward Chance Graham won her second MEAC Defensive Player of the Week Award in 2018-19 and fourth of her career, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon. Graham previously won the award on November 20 of this year, while winning the honor for the weeks of January 9 and February 6 last season.

Charlottesville, Va. – Coppin women's basketball hung around but could not catch the Cavaliers as the Lady Eagles stumbled 55-41 in Charlottesville on Sunday afternoon. Jalynda Salley had her best game of her short career, posting season-highs with 12 boards and eight points to fall short of a double-double. Chance Graham's double-double streak was snapped at three but made up for it with a season-best 21 points, including a career-high five triples.
