Women’s Hoops Drops Low-Scoring Affair at Campbell
BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Colleen Bucknor led the Eagles with the ten points as Coppin State's women's basketball team shot just 29.6% from the floor in a 47-38 loss at Campbell on Thursday night at Gilbert Craig Gore Arena.  With the loss, the Eagles now stand at 2-6 overall while the Camels improve to 4-3.

Colleen Bucknor Named MEAC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's Colleen Bucknor was named the MEAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.  This is the first time this season, and the second of her career, that Bucknor has received a MEAC weekly award.

NORFOLK, Va. – Colleen Bucknor led four Eagles in double figures with 12 points and 14 rebounds as Coppin State's women's basketball team was edged at Old Dominion, 70-63 on Sunday afternoon at Chartway Arena.  The Eagles are now 2-5 on the season while the Monarchs improve to 3-3.

KINGSTON, R.I. – Jewel Watkins and Mossi Staples scored 18 points apiece as Coppin State's women's basketball team was unable to hang on in a 67-60 loss at Rhode Island on Tuesday night at Ryan Center. The Eagles now stand at 2-4 on the season while the Rams improve to 3-1.

Staples Scores 21 Points as Women’s Hoops Hangs on to Defeat Saint Peter’s
BALTIMORE – Mossi Staples scored 21 points to lead the Coppin State women's basketball team to a 58-53 win over Saint Peter's on Sunday afternoon at PEC Arena.  The Eagles now stand at 2-3 on the season while the Peacocks fall to 0-3.

Women’s Hoops Outscores Georgetown in Second Half in Loss to Hoyas
BALTIMORE – Coppin State's women's basketball team outscored Georgetown in the second half but was unable to overcome a large first quarter deficit in a 50-35 loss to the Hoyas in front of 2,800 fans at PEC Arena on Wednesday morning. The Eagles fall to 1-3 on the season while Georgetown improves to 2-1.

Jewel Watkins Scores Career-High 24 Points in Win at Winthrop
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Coppin State's Jewel Watkins went off for a career-high 24 points to lead the Navy & Gold to a 78-49 win at Winthrop on Sunday afternoon at Winthrop Coliseum.  The victory was the first of first-year head coach Jermaine Woods' career.
