Softball Drops Pair on Opening Day of College of Charleston’s Holy City Showdown
CHARLESTON, S.C. – Coppin State's softball team dropped its first two games of the season against Chattanooga and Charleston Southern on Friday at the Holy City Showdown hosted by College of Charleston.  The Eagles fell to the Mocs, 7-0, in the opener before taking a 10-2 loss against the Buccaneers.

Baseball Battles Until Final At-Bat in Loss at George Washington University
ARLINGTON, Va. – Coppin State's baseball team battled to the final out, getting the tying run to the plate in its final at-bat, but the Eagles fell, 7-4 at George Washington University on Wednesday afternoon at Barcroft Park.

Baseball Routs Richmond for First Victory of the Season
RICHMOND, Va. - Coppin State's baseball team picked up its first win of the season with a 11-1 rout at Richmond on Tuesday afternoon at Pitt Field. Three Eagles pitchers combined to allow just two hits and an unearned run.

Medley-Bacon Wins Fourth MEAC Defensive Player of the Week Award This Season
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's Brendan Medley-Bacon has been named the MEAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.  This is Medley-Bacon's fifth weekly honor (fourth defensive) from the MEAC this season and he shares the honor with North Carolina Central's Jibri Blount.

Bowling Qualifies for First MEAC Tournament Since 2013-14 Season With 8th Place Finish at MEAC Meet #2
PENSACOLA, Fla. – Coppin State's bowling team has qualified for its first MEAC Tournament since the 2013-14 season as the Eagles picked up three victories at MEAC Meet #2 over the weekend at Cordova Lanes.  CSU finished eighth overall for the Tournament and now have a school-record 33 wins this season.

Men’s Hoops Rallies in Final Minutes to Defeat Delaware State, 98-86
BALTIMORE – Coppin State's men's basketball team outscored Delaware State 29-4 over the final 5:07 to defeat the Hornets, 98-86 in MEAC action on Saturday night at PEC Arena.  The 98 points for the Eagles were a season-high and the most during third-year head coach Juan Dixon's tenure.

Women’s Hoops Drops Senior Day Matchup to Delaware State, 72-65
BALTIMORE – Coppin State's women's basketball team dropped a toughly-contested MEAC matchup with Delaware State, 72-65 on Saturday afternoon at PEC Arena.  The clash with the Hornets was the final home game for CSU seniors Chance Graham and Oluwadamilola Oloyede.

Chance Graham Recognized as MEAC Women’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's Chance Graham has been named the MEAC Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.  This is the third weekly honor that Graham has received this season and she shares the award with N.C. Central's Kieche White.

Graham’s Tenth Double-Double of the Season Propels Women’s Hoops Past Norfolk State
NORFOLK, Va. – Chance Graham poured in 22 points and 14 rebounds as the Coppin State women's basketball team picked up its third-straight win in a 57-55 MEAC victory at Norfolk State on Monday night at Echols Hall.  The Eagles are now 3-22 on the year and 3-10 in conference play while giving the Spartans just their second MEAC loss of the year.
