Assistant Coach Nerissa Myers Announces Retirement from Professional Softball
BALTIMORE – Coppin State assistant softball coach Nerissa Myers capped off her professional playing career with a home run during the final game of the Athletes Unlimited season on Monday evening.  Myers announced her retirement as a player following the game after drawing a league-high 13 walks during the season.

Women’s Basketball Adds Five Newcomers for Upcoming Season
BALTIMORE – Coppin State women's basketball head coach Laura Harper moved quickly in turning over the Eagles roster as she added five new players for the upcoming season.  Among the newcomers are graduate transfers Nailah Delinois (Sunrise, Fla. / Saint Joseph's University) and Roni Richardson (Alabaster, Ala. / Auburn University Montgomery), junior college transfers Toni Blanford (Montclair, N.J. / Monroe College) and Rebecca Wilson (Mount Vernon, N.Y. / Independence CC) and early-signee Hope Evans (Bowie, Md. / Bishop McNamara HS).

NORFOLK, Va. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) unveiled its 50 Greatest Moments on Friday afternoon as part of its 50th anniversary celebration where Coppin State University saw a pair of moments make the list.

Harper Finalizes Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff
BALTIMORE – Coppin State women's basketball head coach Laura Harper announced on Monday the hiring of Jermaine Woods, Anjalé Barrett, Breanna Gross and Jennifer George to the Eagles coaching staff. Woods will serve as associate head coach, Barrett and Gross as assistant coaches and George as the program's director of basketball operations.

Volleyball’s Coleman, Roman Named to Preseason All-MEAC Team; Eagles Picked 2nd in North
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's Miajavon Coleman and Ashley Roman were named to the MEAC Volleyball Preseason All-Conference Team, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.  The Eagles were also picked to finish second in the Northern Division in a voting of the conference's 11 head coaches and sports information directors.

Men’s Track & Field Announces Addition of Amadou Ba for Upcoming Season
BALTIMORE – Coppin State University head track & field coach Carl Hicks has announced the addition of Amadou Ba to the Eagles' track & field roster for the 2020-21 season.  Ba is the first new male athlete to officially commit to Coppin track & field for the upcoming season.
