Baseball Wins Sixth-Straight NEC Game, Completing Sweep of Norfolk State to Finish the Season
HANOVER, Md. - Coppin State's baseball team closed its season with its sixth-straight Northeast Conference victory, completing a sweep of Norfolk State with a 10-1 win on Saturday afternoon at Joe Cannon Stadium.  The Eagles finish with a 21-31 overall record while tying for sixth place in the NEC with a 14-16 mark in league play.

Baseball Picks Up 20th Win of the Season with Second-Straight Win Over Norfolk State
HANOVER, Md. – For the fourth time in the last five full seasons, Coppin State's baseball team has hit 20 wins after the Eagles defeated Norfolk State, 14-9 on Friday afternoon at Joe Cannon Stadium.  With the victory, Coppin (20-31, 13-16 NEC) stays alive in its bid to clinch a spot in the NEC Tournament with the regular season finale tomorrow afternoon.

Track & Field Sending Four Individuals to NCAA East Preliminaries May 24-27
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Coppin State's track & field teams will send four individuals to the NCAA East Preliminaries, held at University of North Florida on May 24-27. Latifa Ali and Kimani Alphonse are set to run in the 400m dash with Jeff Hammond and James Bell competing in the long jump and high jump, respectively.

Baseball Takes NEC Series Opener from Norfolk State, 5-3
HANOVER, Md. – Brody Black hit a three-run home run and the pitching duo of Marcos Herrand and Rashad Ruff combined to strikeout 17 batters as Coppin State's baseball team defeated Norfolk State, 5-3 in NEC action on Thursday afternoon at Joe Cannon Stadium. With the win, the Eagles improve to 19-31 overall and 12-16 in league play, staying alive in their chase for a NEC Tournament bid.

Jordan Hamberg Named Semifinalist for John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award
LUBBOCK, Texas – Coppin State's Jordan Hamberg has been named one of 12 semifinals for the 2023 John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award, it was announced by the College Baseball Foundation on Wednesday afternoon.  This is the second-straight season that Hamberg has been a semifinalist after being one of five finalists last season.
