STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Coppin State's men's 4x400m relay of Abayie Opuni, Joseph Amoah, Malik John and Randy Serville closed out the night with a narrow victory at the Albany Winter Classic on Friday night at Ocean Breeze Sports Complex.

Joseph Amoah Wins 200m Dash in Nation’s Third-Fastest Time at BU Scarlet & White Invitational
BOSTON, Mass. – Coppin State's Joseph Amoah won the 200m dash at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invitational in a school-record 20.75 on Saturday afternoon at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center.  A native of Greater Accra, Ghana, Amoah's time is the third-fastest in the Nation this season and breaks Martin Owusu-Antwi's school-record of 20.79.

Men’s Track & Field Rises to 21st in FloTrack National Rankings
AUSTIN, Texas – Coppin State's men's track & field team has moved up two spots in the latest FloTrack NCAA Team Rankings which were released on Monday afternoon.  The Eagles, who were previously ranked 23rd, now sit at 21st, tied with Minnesota, Tennessee and Wisconsin.

John, Westcarr Win Event Titles at Terrapin Invitational; Men’s Track Third in Team Standings
LANDOVER, Md. – Individual victories by Malik John in the 60m dash and Theodore Westcarr in the long jump highlighted the day for the Coppin State men's track team who finished third of 11 schools at the Terrapin Invitation on Saturday at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex.  The Eagles scored 82 points on the day, ranking just ahead of the host Terrapins and behind squads from Delaware State and Johns Hopkins.

Men’s Track Takes Fifth Place at Season Opening HBCU Battle
NEW YORK, N.Y. – Coppin State's men's track & field team opened its season at the HBCU Battle and got individual victories from Aaron Lewis and Theodore Westcarr on Friday afternoon at The Armory.  The Eagles finished fifth of 13 schools on the day.

Coppin State Athletics Announces Hall of Fame Class of 2020
BALTIMORE – Coppin State University proudly released today the four individuals and one team who will comprise the CSU Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2020.  Brian Pisani (baseball), Doug Robertson (women's basketball head coach), Stephen Stewart (men's basketball), Rashida Suber (women's basketball) and the 1975-76 men's basketball team will make up the 2020 Class.
