Manu, Coleman Receive President’s Eagle Awards to Headline 2022 Eagle ESPY Awards
BALTIMORE – Track & Field's Joseph Manu and volleyball's Miajavon Coleman received the President's Eagle Awards as Coppin State University Athletic Department held its annual Eagles ESPY Awards on Monday night at James Weldon Auditorium.  Nendah Tarke and Jaia Alexander received CSU's Male and Female Athlete of the Year Awards, respectively.

Tarke, Corbett Named BOXTOROW HBCU Men’s Basketball All-Americans
BALTIMORE – Coppin State's Nendah Tarke and Tyree Corbett were named BOXTOROW HBCU Men's Basketball All-Americans, it was announced by the organization on Wednesday morning.  Tarke was a First Team selection while Corbett earned Second Team honors in BOXTOROW's 14th Annual HBCU All-America Team.

Men’s Hoops Upset Bid Comes to End in MEAC Championship Game
NORFOLK, Va. – Seventh-seeded Coppin State's men's basketball's run in the MEAC Tournament came to an end in the Championship Game in a 72-57 loss against Norfolk State on Saturday afternoon at Scope Arena.  The Eagles, who made their first appearance in the Championship Game since 2008, conclude their season with a 9-23 overall record while the Spartans improve to 24-6 and gain the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Tarke Does it Again! Hits Game-Winner Just Before Buzzer to Lift Men’s Hoops to Win in MEAC Quarterfinals
NORFOLK, Va. – Nendah Tarke hit a mid-range jumper with 0.2 seconds remaining to lift the seventh-seeded Coppin State men's basketball team to a 59-57 victory over #2 Howard in the MEAC Quarterfinals on Wednesday night at Scope Arena.  The Eagles will move on to Friday night's Semifinals where they will face the winner of NC Central/Maryland Eastern Shore in an 8 pm tipoff.

Nendah Tarke Named to MEAC Men’s Basketball First Team; Spurlock to All-Rookie Team
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's Nendah Tarke was named to the MEAC Men's Basketball First Team and All-Defensive Team while Greg Spurlock was named to the All-Rookie Team, it was announced by the league office on Friday afternoon.  Voting for the awards was done by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.

Men’s Hoops Drops Regular Season Finale to Morgan State, 63-59
BALTIMORE – Despite putting four players in double figures, the Coppin State men's basketball team fell to crosstown rival Morgan State, 63-59 on Thursday night at PEC Arena.  The Eagles finish the regular season and will enter the MEAC Tournament the seventh seed at 7-22 overall and 6-8 in league play.

NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's Nendah Tarke was named the MEAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.  This is the second time this season that Tarke has received the Defensive weekly award.

Men’s Hoops Pulls Away from Delaware State in Second Half
BALTIMORE – Sita Conteh led four Eagles in double figures as the Coppin State men's basketball team pulled away to defeat Delaware State, 80-67, on Monday night at PEC Arena.  With the win, the Eagles improve to 6-7 in the MEAC while the Hornets fall to 0-13.

Men’s Hoops Falls at Maryland Eastern Shore in Final Road Game of the Season
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Coppin State's men's basketball team fell to Maryland Eastern Shore, 70-50 on Saturday afternoon at Hytche Arena.? The Eagles are now 6-21 on the season, while UMES advances to 10-13.? Both teams are now tied for sixth in the MEAC with a 5-7 conference record.?
