Men’s Hoops Welcomes Seven Newcomers for 2020-21 Season
BALTIMORE – Coppin State men's basketball head coach Juan Dixon has announced the addition of seven newcomers to the Eagles for the 2020-21 season.  Included in the class are a pair of true freshmen, three junior college transfers and two players from Division I programs.

President Burnim’s Statement on CSU Athletics Spring Season
BALTIMORE - As we continue to monitor the details regarding COVID-19, it has become clear that further steps must be taken in order to preserve the health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff, to the extent that we are able. To this end, and as of March 13, 2020, all Coppin State University Athletics competition and practices will be suspended for the remainder of the spring seasons. This decision is also in line with a recent decision soon to be announced by the Mideastern Athletic Conference.  The safety of our student-athletes must be prioritized, and it is a necessary decision as we face the harsh reality and threat that the COVID-19 pandemic poses.

Medley-Bacon’s Career-High 20 Points Leads Men’s Hoops Past The Shore in Regular Season Finale
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Brendan Medley-Bacon scored a career-high 20 points along with 13 rebounds and five blocks to lead the Coppin State men's basketball team to a 63-60 victory at MEAC rival Maryland Eastern Shore on Thursday night at Hytche Arena.  The Eagles enter next week's MEAC Tournament as the sixth seed at 11-20 overall and 7-9 in the MEAC. The Hawks move to 5-26 on the year and 4-12 in league play.

Koby Thomas Named MEAC Men’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's Koby Thomas has been named the MEAC Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon. This is the fourth weekly honor for Thomas this season and the second time receiving the Player of the Week award which he shares with Jibri Blount of North Carolina Central.

Thomas’ Career-Night Lifts Men’s Hoops Over East Baltimore Foe Morgan State
BALTIMORE – Koby Thomas scored a career-high 28 points on 11-of-16 shooting along with a team-high eight rebounds to lead the Coppin State men's basketball team to a 72-65 win at crosstown rival Morgan State on Saturday night at Hill Field House.  The Eagles now have ten victories this season, their most since the 2013-14 campaign.

Medley-Bacon Wins Fourth MEAC Defensive Player of the Week Award This Season
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's Brendan Medley-Bacon has been named the MEAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.  This is Medley-Bacon's fifth weekly honor (fourth defensive) from the MEAC this season and he shares the honor with North Carolina Central's Jibri Blount.

Men’s Hoops Rallies in Final Minutes to Defeat Delaware State, 98-86
BALTIMORE – Coppin State's men's basketball team outscored Delaware State 29-4 over the final 5:07 to defeat the Hornets, 98-86 in MEAC action on Saturday night at PEC Arena.  The 98 points for the Eagles were a season-high and the most during third-year head coach Juan Dixon's tenure.
