Athletics to Hold Inaugural Father’s Day Breakfast on June 16
BALTIMORE – Coppin State University's Athletic Department will hold its Inaugural Father's Day Breakfast at the Physical Education Complex Arena on Sunday, June 16 at 8:30 am. Attendees will be able to celebrate their fathers with breakfast and family photos and hear featured speaker, Juan Dixon, who is entering his third season as head coach of the Eagles' men's basketball team.

BALTIMORE – The Coppin State University Athletic Department held its annual Eagles ESPY Awards on Monday night and Joseph Amoah of the track & field team and women's basketball's Brooke Fields were named the Department's Male and Female Athletes of the Year.

Midnight Mayhem This Thursday
Coppin State Athletics will introduce the women and men's basketball teams as well as the other varsity rosters to the campus community this Thursday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at "Midnight Mayhem: CHAMPION Edition" in the PEC Arena. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

58 Eagles Named to MEAC 2018 Commissioner’s All-Academic Team
NORFOLK, Va. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced that 58 Coppin State student-athletes have been named to the 2018 Commissioner's All-Academic Team, it was announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.  A total of 1,366 student-athletes from the 13 member institutions were named to the team.

Eagles Visit Matthew Henson Elementary For Halloween Parade & Selected Reading
BALTIMORE, Md. – Several Coppin State University student-athletes visited Matthew Elementary Elementary School to participate in the school's annual Halloween parade.  Following the parade, the Eagles read selected books to the children ranging from Pre-K to Third Grade.

Former Coppin State's head wrestling coach and assistant student activities director Kenneth Taylor passed away Sunday, August 13 and will be laid to rest Saturday, August 19.
