Coppin State Athletics will introduce the women and men's basketball teams as well as the other varsity rosters to the campus community this Thursday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at "Midnight Mayhem: CHAMPION Edition" in the PEC Arena. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Coppin State University Athletic Department held its annual Eagles ESPN Awards on Monday night and Joseph Amoah of the track & field team and women's basketball's Genesis Lucas were named the Department's Male and Female Athletes of the Year.

NORFOLK, Va. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced that 58 Coppin State student-athletes have been named to the 2018 Commissioner's All-Academic Team, it was announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.  A total of 1,366 student-athletes from the 13 member institutions were named to the team.

BALTIMORE, Md. – Several Coppin State University student-athletes visited Matthew Elementary Elementary School to participate in the school's annual Halloween parade.  Following the parade, the Eagles read selected books to the children ranging from Pre-K to Third Grade.

Former Coppin State's head wrestling coach and assistant student activities director Kenneth Taylor passed away Sunday, August 13 and will be laid to rest Saturday, August 19.

Baltimore, MD – Coppin State University (CSU) was proud to serve as the event site of The Basketball Tournament (TBT) for 2017. The $2 Million Winner-Take-All Tournament Semi-Finals and Championship games took place in the campus's Physical Education Complex.

Baltimore, MD - Coppin State University is hosting the American Tennis Association (ATA) 2017 Junior National Tennis Championships from July 31 - August 5.  The ATA 100th National Championship and the ATA Honors Gala will feature their 1st ATA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, celebrating ATA's rich Legacy and honoring past ATA Champions, The highlight of the evening will be celebrating ATA's first Hall of Fame inductee.  The ATA first inductee will be Mr. Richard Williams, father and coach of Venus and Serena Williams.
