Investigating Missing Children and Human Trafficking
3 Credit Graduate Course
An in-depth study of the principles and techniques associated with investigating missing children and incidences of human trafficking. While considering the sociological, psychological, and legal aspects typically found in these cases, the process will take the student from the scene of abduction or of trafficking, through the investigative process (with careful consideration to documenting and collecting physical evidence), to search and rescue/recovery aspects of the investigation. Missing children and incidences of human trafficking will be discussed from an international perspective as well.
