This course focuses on the role of the nurse in assisting families and groups in the urban community to conserve integrity and energy. The Levine model and related theories are utilized to evaluate care to client groups and the community. Clinical experiences facilitate assessment of a community, implementation of a teaching/learning project with a selected group, and beginning skills in coordination of health care through collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
Pre-requisites: Completion of all Level I, II and III courses
