Description
Fundamentals of Acting for Majors
Description: Providing a thorough grounding in fundamentals, this course provides majors with an opportunity to develop the discipline required of a professional theatre artist by engaging in exercises designed to increase skill and flexibility of their bodies and voices, which are the instruments of actors. Students also begin developing techniques of character analysis as they explore the human condition as it is reflected through the arts of acting. Students are required to attend and critique theatre performances in a variety of venues.
