Negotiations: Theory and Practice

This course introduces the student to the theory and practice of negotiations. It explores the similarities and divergences in negotiations and the various stages of negotiation from pre-negotiation, to negotiation proper, to post-settlement negotiation. It also emphasizes the distinctive approaches taken by mediators, the influence of personality on negotiations, and the ethics of negotiators. This course is offered at the University of Baltimore campus.
