Acting for Non-Majors. An introduction to practice and appreciation of acting, this course provides students with an opportunity to expand their creativity and imagination; increase their relaxation, concentration, and vocal strength and flexibility; manage stage fright, and learn some basic steps in character development. Students explore the human condition and learn physical and vocal skills which they can apply to professions outside the discipline of theatre. Students are required to attend and critique theatre performances. Fulfills general education requirements in arts and language.
