Urban Health Care Within The Community

Focus of the course is the role of the professional nurse in assisting families and groups in the urban community to conserve integrity and energy utilizing the Levine model to evaluate care for client groups and the community. Clinical experiences facilitate assessment of a community, being a member of a multi-disciplinary team using collaboration to deliver health care. Prerequisites: Completion of all Level I, II, III and Level IV Semester I courses in the Traditional BSN Program of Study; Admission to the RN to BSN program.
