Shakespeare`s Early Plays
3 Undergraduate Credits
A study of the development of Shakespeare`s techniques as revealed in his early plays, placing emphasis on the cultural, historical, and philosophical significance of selected plays to modern living. The course includes comedies through Much Ado About Nothing, tragedies through Julius Caesar, and histories through Henry IV, Part II. Alternate fall semesters. Prerequisite: (ENGL 101 or 103) AND (ENGL 102 or 104) AND ( 1 of WLIT 203, 204, 205, 206)
