Description
Introduction to Film
3 Undergraduate Credits
Introduction to Film is designed as an entry-Level course into the study of the narrative and formal elements of film. The course covers the essentials of narrative theory (plot, setting, conflict, character, them, etc.) and pairs those essentials with a sense of the formal properties and techniques of movie making. Examining the intersection of these two facets of filmic expression makes up the core of the course.
