This course is a survey of programming languages, emphasizing client- and server-side web publishing languages and tools such as HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, Java applets, VBScript, and Active Server Pages (ASP), examining similarities and differences among the languages and stressing programming language principles as they relate to web applications. Spring semester. Prerequisite: COSC 221 or 201
