This course will provide students with an introduction to the principles of the science of fingerprints. Students will obtain a general understanding of the methodology of fingerprint analysis as well as a foundation to learn comparison techniques related to all friction ridge skin using Henry, NCIC and IAFIS classification systems. A basic overview of footprints. Palm prints and the basic processing/development techniques will be covered. Prerequisite:CRJU 301
